Brief info

Earl V. Gardner is the founder and pastor of Hope World Outreach Ministry in Pelham, AL. With more than 25 years in the ministry, he is not only a pastor, but a teacher, motivator and a visionary. Pastor Gardner has a passion to reach people of all walks of life with the gospel, by spreading the message of HOPE through Jesus Christ in our community, nation, and the world.

A native of Birmingham, AL, Pastor Gardner is a product of the Birmingham City School system and a graduate of Producing Faith School of Ministry. In 1979, he was called into the ministry and ordained as pastor in 1981.

For over 17 years, he was Senior Pastor of Because He Lives Tabernacle. He later served at The Guiding Light Church for 7 years where he worked as Pastoral Care assistant, Counselor, New Member’s Coordinator and Men’s Ministry Director.

As part of the evangelistic outreach team, Pastor Gardner travelled and labored in the mission fields of Peru, Bolivia, Suriname and Guyana, ministering in crusades with Evangelist Tommy Combs where over 11,000 souls gave their lives to Christ during a 4 year period.

In 2008, God birthed a new ministry in the spirit of Pastor Gardner called Hope World Outreach Ministry. This endeavor was to be special because of the many mandates given by God to govern this ministry. One of the primary mandates is to provide an atmosphere, undergirded by prayer, conducive to the manifestation of the presence of God as we allow the Holy Spirit to move among us. It is a ministry established on the integrity of God’s Word and prayer, where the emphasis is on “Giving Hope, Building Families and Changing Lives”.

Pastor Gardner has been married for 40 years to his lovely wife Sidney. They have committed to the parental oversight of two lovely daughters: Natasha (McKinley) Burnett and Rachel (Brad) Allen. The Gardner’s are also very proud to have six grandchildren: Kristen, Jaylen, Terrell, McKinley Jr., Kennedy and Matthew.
